The Guide presents all drugs in Spain in chapters by pathology. In addition, it offers several annotations that provide each physician with information to facilitate the choice of the appropriate drug. For patients it is of interest because the posology and possible side effects of all Spanish medicines can be read in an objective and scientific way.
An important help for foreigners is the Vademecum page, where in the section "Equivalences" you can search for equivalents of the medicines prescribed in your home country and vice versa. You can then use the name you have found to look up detailed information in your own country's guidelines and in your own language.
Nowadays everybody travels all the time. Therefore, we advise you to always carry a list of your medicines with the generic name, because with this information any doctor in the world knows exactly what you are taking.
