Aligners are made from clear materials designed to be very discreet. Although they are not completely invisible, they are much less noticeable than conventional braces, making them the preferred choice for adults and teenagers.
Aligners achieve excellent results in many cases: crowded teeth, gaps, misaligned teeth and some bite problems. In very complex cases, braces may be a more suitable option. Each case is assessed individually so that we can recommend the best option for you.
Yes. One of their major advantages is that they can be removed at mealtimes and for oral hygiene, so there are no dietary restrictions and brushing is just as easy as ever. It is advisable to wear them for the rest of the day (around 22 hours) to ensure the treatment progresses as planned.
It depends on the complexity of the case and how the treatment progresses: minor corrections can be resolved in a few months, whilst most cases take longer. Following a personalised assessment, we will provide you with a specific estimate and outline the expected progress.
It is normal to feel some pressure or slight discomfort when changing aligners; this is a sign that your teeth are gradually moving as planned. It goes away quickly and is much more bearable than the chafing caused by braces.
